Why HASS Avocado Is A Great Investment Opportunity For Small-Scale Farmers

Since the fruits can be exported, local farmers stand to make a lot of profits because they do not have to sell their products at low prices to middlemen, and at last enriching into the pockets of foreigners who benefit from the valuable resources of our country. Also, as a matter of fact, one hass tree can produce an average of 500 fruits every cycle and a fruit at farm gate price retails @10/- on the minimum end . An acre with a spacing of 5m by 5m accommodates 150 trees. This automatically translates to:

150 trees * 500 fruits= 75,000 fruits

Returns= 75,000 fruits * Ksh.10=  Ksh. 750,000/-
